HOW TO USE GUIDE

DIRECTIONS:

Wash hands and wear gloves.

Peel back label and remove one wipe.

Each single use wipe is to be used for one area of the body ONLY.

When a patient is unable to get out of bed, providing the patient with a bed bath using a basin full of water, soap, and cloth towels is an alternative way to provide personal hygiene. Studies have shown that bath basins can serve as a reservoir for bacteria and as a potential source for the transmission of healthcare-associated infections (1)

The main source of contamination is patients’ own skin flora that is removed during bathing and then transferred to the basin through the wet washcloth.

The ready to use disposable wet wipe is premoistened with a cleanser and moisturiser.

It reduces the risk of microorganism transmission associated with bathtub contamination.
